P3O Training - Getting P3O Qualified
There are two P3O qualification levels: P3O Foundation and P3O Practitioner.
P3O Foundation consists of seven lessons which cover the principles, techniques and structure for implementing a Portfolio, Programme and Project Office, including a Centre of Excellence, through to the business case and planning for implementation.
P3O Practitioner is the highest level of the P3O qualification and builds upon the concepts, structures and duties gained at Foundation level. A pass at Foundation level is a pre-requisite for the P3O Practitioner course.

How do I Sit The P3O Exam?
With the Foundation e-learning pack exams can be booked with ILX at a locations world-wide. When you're ready ILX will help book your exam at your chosen location that is convenient to you.
P3O Foundation Exam Format
The P3O Foundation Exam consists of 50 multiple choice questions to be answered in 40 minutes.The exam is closed-book and has a pass mark of 60%.
P3O Practitioner Exam Format
The P3O Practitioner Exam consists of 7 questions with a total of 70 marks available. All questions must be answered within 2 1/4 hours, and candidates must achieve a mark of 35 or more to pass the paper. You can take the P3O Guide into the exam room for reference, but no other material. A pass at Foundation level is a pre-requisite for the Practitioner qualification.
