AXELOS (the PRINCE2 accrediting body) has officially changed the name of ‘PRINCE2 2017’ to ‘PRINCE2 6th edition’. The qualification itself has not changed, and still conforms to the 2017 syllabus.

Over de cursus

The Practitioner is the second of two examinations that you are required to pass to become a Registered PRINCE2 Practitioner. The examination measures whether a candidate can demonstrate sufficient ability to apply and tailor PRINCE2 to the running and managing of a project. A successful Practitioner candidate should, with suitable direction, be able to start applying the method to a real project. This course conforms to the 6th Edition syllabus.

Duur

This self-paced e-learning course will take you approximately 20 hours to complete, although you will have access to the learning licence for six months.

In order to sit the PRINCE2 Practitioner examination you must provide proof of having passed one of the following:

PRINCE2 Foundation (or higher) - this only applies to certificates obtained after 1 January 2009
Project Management Qualification (PMQ)
Certified Associate in Project Management (CAPM)®
Project Management Professional (PMP)®
IPMA Level A® (Certified Projects Director)
IPMA Level B® (Certified Senior Project Manager)
IPMA Level C® (Certified Project Manager)
IPMA Level D® (Certified Project Management Associate)

Only current certifications will qualify as a pre-requisite

Exameninformatie

Exams are taken online via remote proctor. You will be sent an email invitation within 48 hours of your purchase to register on the Peoplecert exam portal. Once registered you will be able to book your online exam at a date and time of your choice. You are responsible for booking your own exam. Recertification: This certification has a renew within three years of the award date to remain current. There are multiple ways to recertify, more information regarding the options can be found here.
