How long is the certificate valid for?
The Foundation qualification remains valid for three years. To maintain your certified status, you must complete a renewal assessment or higher-level certification through PeopleCert. Renewing on time ensures your knowledge reflects the latest best practice in risk management.
What should I expect from the exam?
The exam is an online, proctored assessment that lasts 60 minutes. It contains 75 multiple-choice questions, including trial items that are not scored. The test is closed book, and you’ll need to achieve at least 35 correct answers (50%) to pass.
Is Foundation required before progressing to higher levels of PRINCE2 Risk Management?
You will need to complete this certification to take the PRINCE2 Risk Management Practitioner (Version 3) exam. However, if you would prefer to certify in Practitioner (Version 4) this is not a requirement.
