Worried about passing first time? With our exam resit service, you can relax knowing that, if things don’t go to plan, you’ll have another chance. Take² gives you the option to resit your exam at a significantly reduced cost.

Take²

Take2 is a resit service provided by PeopleCert and must be purchased at the same time as your initial exam. It offers one additional attempt if your first try is unsuccessful.

How to claim

If you fail your exam, and have purchased Take², it will be automatically activated. You’ll receive an email once your results are released, allowing you to schedule your resit in your PeopleCert candidate portal.

You have six months from your first exam date to book and complete the resit. This does not extend any PRINCE2.com eLearning licence purchased alongside the exam.

Take² exams are also delivered online under proctored conditions.

Terms and conditions

Take² only applies if your first attempt at the exam has a fail result.
Take² is non-transferable and non-refundable. It cannot be exchanged for cash or credit.
Must be used within six months of the original exam.
Take² is only linked to the specific exam purchased.
Missed appointments void the voucher unless rescheduled in advance.
Take² cannot be purchased after a failed exam.

Can I purchase Take² after I have failed an exam?

No, Take² must be selected at the point of booking your course. It acts as an “insurance policy”, protecting you in case your first attempt is not successful. If you don’t purchase this in advance, it cannot be added later. To avoid disappointment, we recommend considering this service at the time you book your training and exam.

How many times can I resit using Take²?

Take² provides one additional attempt only. If you are unsuccessful again, you would need to purchase a new exam voucher at full price. This service is designed to give you an affordable safety net, but it does not provide unlimited retakes.

How long do I have to take my resit?

If you’ve purchased Take2 you will have six months from the date of your original exam to book and complete your discounted resit. Please note, this does not extend your eLearning access.
