My handbook and pre-reading instructions were not received until just 1 week before the course. The package was not delivered on time as address label contained errors despite correct instructions being provided to ILX. ILX assumed that we receive the package, unless a query is raised by the receiver, however how is the receiver to know when it was despatched? Regarding the exam, there was a page missing from our Practitioner exam question booklet sent direct from ILX, but fortunately thanks to the actions of our excellent trainer Brendan we were able to complete the exam. He quickly obtained the missing page from ILX, averting disaster.
The instructopr was excellent and really knew the material, and the hotel (in Leeds) was a suitable location to hold these two courses. Please see my below comments.
exam time of 9.15am was poor - I had to go from west wales to bristol. Others were from oxford and mid wales. If you are to have a wales/west regional exam centre then please time the exam appropriately - i.e. a 10.30 or 11 start would have made a big difference.
Instructions on what to print are not clear, I printed far too much material which I didn't need. Otherwise a very well organised and presented course.
Trainer, Keith, was excellent

The venue was great, the tutor was excellent the only thing I think you could have improved on was the food selection, but even then it was good.
I called the customer service team before the course for some advice, they were very helpful and professional, a pleasure to deal with. On the course our trainer Keith was amazing. His passion for the subject made it come alive through his use of clever practical examples to explain the subject matter. The whole week flew by and was very enjoyable. I was so taken with the whole experience that I've recommended it to other colleagues and have recommended they definitely go for ILX and Keith if they can. Well done.
