150 minutes, objective testing, open book. Pass mark 50%. Delivered as a remote online exam.

FAQs
The P3O Practitioner course builds on your Foundation knowledge and shows you how to create, implement, and manage a Portfolio, Programme, and Project Office. It focuses on giving you the practical tools to support organisational change and improve decision-making.
What do I need before taking the P3O Practitioner exam?
To be eligible, you must already hold a valid P3O Foundation certificate. Without this, you will not be able to sit the Practitioner assessment.
Does the P3O Practitioner certification have to be renewed?
Yes. The qualification remains valid for three years. After this time you’ll need to renew it to maintain your status. PeopleCert provides several pathways for recertification, giving you flexibility in how you update your credential.
How long will it take me to complete the training?
The course is delivered over two days if you choose classroom or live virtual learning. Once enrolled, you’ll also have up to 12 months to book and take your exam, giving you flexibility to plan around work and personal commitments.
What is required to pass the Practitioner exam?
The assessment is open book and uses an objective testing format. It consists of four questions worth 20 marks each, totalling 80 marks. To achieve a pass, you’ll need to score at least 40 marks (50%).
