What is the M_o_R® 3rd Edition Foundation & Practitioner course exam structure and what score do I need to pass?

The Foundation exam lasts one hour, is closed book, and includes 75 multiple-choice questions (five of which are trial questions that don’t count). You’ll need to achieve at least 35 correct answers (50%) to pass. The Practitioner exam is three hours long, open book, and uses objective testing. It consists of four questions worth 20 marks each, totalling 80 marks. To pass, you need 40 marks or more (50%).

How much time will I need to complete the course and exams?

If you choose a classroom or live virtual classroom option, training runs over five consecutive days. With the blended format, you’ll have access to 12 months of eLearning (approximately 12 hours of study time) before completing two additional days of Practitioner training either in-person or virtually. Both exams must be taken within 12 months of your course purchase, and you must pass Foundation before sitting Practitioner.

Do the M_o_R Foundation and Practitioner qualifications have an expiry date?

Yes. Both certifications remain valid for three years from the date of achievement. After that, you’ll need to recertify to keep your qualification up to date. You can find details of the renewal process on the PeopleCert website.

Is the course content the same across classroom, virtual, and blended study methods?

Yes, whichever study option you choose, the syllabus and exams are exactly the same. The difference lies in how you learn: classroom and virtual options give you direct access to a trainer in real time, while blended learning combines self-paced online study with live sessions for added flexibility.
