About the course

The PRINCE2 Agile Foundation & Practitioner classroom course provides a complete learning experience taking you through both courses in one. At the Foundation level, you’ll gain an understanding of agile concepts, the agile mindset, and how PRINCE2 principles can be integrated with these for successful project management. At the Practitioner level the course shifts its focus to application, teaching you how to tailor agile practices, lead agile teams, and align project delivery with performance targets.

This is a five-day face-to-face classroom course.

Materials

Hardcopy ILX course material: You will be provided with a printed version of the ILX course material. This will be issued on day one of your course.

Digital and hardcopy official manual: You will be given access to both a digital and hardcopy version of the official manual. The hardcopy will be issued on day one of your course with your course material. For the digital version you will be sent an email invitation approximately two working days prior to course commencement to register on the Peoplecert portal. Once registered you will be able to access the digital version of your manual. Please note: There is a 5-year limitation in accessing your digital eBook.

Exam information

Exams are taken online via remote proctor. You will be sent an email invitation approximately two working days prior to course commencement to register on the PeopleCert portal. Once registered you will be able to book your online exams at a date and time of your choice. You are responsible for booking your own exams. Recertification: This certification requires renewal within three years of the award date to remain current. There are multiple ways to recertify, find out more about the options on the PeopleCert website.

Exam format

The format of the Foundation exam is as follows:

60 minutes
Multiple-choice
40 questions, each worth one mark
60% pass mark (24/40)
Closed book

The format of the Practitioner exam is as follows:

150 minutes
Multiple-choice
50 questions, each worth one mark
60% pass mark (30/50)
Open book (official PRINCE2 Agile manual only)

Pre-requisites

There are no formal prerequisites to take the PRINCE2 Agile Foundation (Version 2) exam, but you must have passed your Foundation exam before sitting the Practitioner.
