PRINCE2 Practitioner provides you with everything you need to know to apply the PRINCE2 methodology effectively to the way you manage your projects. Our classroom courses give you the opportunity to learn from, and engage with, trainers who are passionate and knowledgeable about their field.

AXELOS (the PRINCE2 accrediting body) has officially changed the name of ‘PRINCE2 2017’ to ‘PRINCE2 6th edition’. The qualification itself has not changed, and still conforms to the 2017 syllabus.

Over de cursus

Our accredited PRINCE2 Practitioner classroom course fully prepares you for the PRINCE2 Practitioner examination.

The examination measures whether a candidate can demonstrate sufficient ability to apply and tailor PRINCE2 to the running and managing of a project. A successful Practitioner candidate should, with suitable direction, be able to start applying the method to a real project. This course conforms to the 6th Edition syllabus.

Duur

This course consists of four days of lessons, spread over four weeks, plus an online Proctor exam, which you will need to schedule at a time that suits you.

There will also be 32-40 hours of home study, outside of the classroom hours.

Exams are taken online via remote proctor, at a date of your choice.

Wat wordt behandeld?

This course follows the 6th Edition syllabus and provides delegates with the following:

ILX Group’s unique ‘Preparing for the PRINCE2 Practitioner examination’ workbook, providing sample practitioner examination papers and marking guidelines
A review of the entire method, consolidating understanding and addressing any areas of concern
Individual scenario-based exercises, designed to focus candidates on the application of the PRINCE2 method

Wat is inbegrepen?

The price includes the following:

A PDF with the slides from the training course, plus exercises and solution, as well as e-learning with exam practice questions
The online proctor PRINCE2 Practitioner exam
Refreshments, including lunches, coffee, tea, soft drinks, fruit, etc.

Exameninformatie

Exams are taken online via remote proctor, and you are responsible for booking your own exam. You will be sent your exam voucher via email one week before the last day of your course, so that you can schedule the exam at a time that suits you. Your exam voucher is valid for one year. Recertification: This certification has a renew within three years of the award date to remain current. There are multiple ways to recertify, more information regarding the options can be found here.

IPMA Level A® (Certified Projects Director)
IPMA Level B® (Certified Senior Project Manager)
IPMA Level C® (Certified Project Manager)
IPMA Level D® (Certified Project Management Associate)
Project Management Qualification (PMQ)

Hoe groot moet een project zijn voor PRINCE2 gebruikt kan worden?

PRINCE2 kan worden toegepast op alle soorten projecten, van heel klein tot heel groot. Zelfs projecten die maar een paar dagen duren profiteren van een selectieve toepassing van PRINCE2-richtlijnen. De sleutel tot succes met PRINCE2 is te onthouden dat het zeer configureerbaar is en dus kan worden aangepast op alle projecttypes, ongeacht branche en markt.

Wat zijn de PRINCE2-kwalificaties en wat leer ik ervan?

De PRINCE2 Foundation-kwalificatie leert u de principes en terminologie van PRINCE2 en wanneer u gekwalificeerd bent, kun u handelen als een geïnformeerd lid van een projectmanagementteam door de PRINCE2-methodiek te gebruiken binnen een projectomgeving die PRINCE2 ondersteunt.

De PRINCE2 Practitioner-kwalificatie leert u om PRINCE2 toe te passen op het uitvoeren en managen van een project binnen een omgeving die PRINCE2 ondersteunt. Als u gekwalificeerd bent kunt u PRINCE2 toepassen en afstemmen om de behoeften en problemen van een specifiek projectscenario aan te pakken. De kwalificatie PRINCE2 Re-Registration is ontworpen voor degenen die geslaagd zijn voor PRINCE2 op Practitioner-niveau en hun geregistreerde Practitioner-status willen behouden.
