PRINCE2® 7 Fasttrack Foundation and Practitioner (Engels) Klassikaal

Become a project management expert in just four days with our PRINCE2® 7 Foundation & Practitioner classroom course. First you will learn the theory behind the methodology and then you will be taught how this can be adapted to real-life project scenarios.

This is the latest update to the PRINCE2 certification. To ensure the methodology remains in line with recent industry changes, PRINCE2 7 introduces multiple additions to the framework. Addressing pressing topics including sustainability, data handling and change management.

The training for this course will be in Dutch, but the exam and training materials are currently in English.

Over de cursus

The PRINCE2 7 Foundation examination measures your understanding of the PRINCE2 methodology. In contrast, the PRINCE2 Practitioner examination evaluates your ability to apply and adapt it. Successful Practitioner candidates can begin using PRINCE2 on real projects, but proficiency varies with experience, project complexity, and workplace support.

This course consists of five days of lessons, spread over 4-5 weeks.

Exams are taken online via remote proctor, at a date of your choice.

Exameninformatie

Exams are taken online via remote proctor. You will need to register on the Peoplecert portal, and once registered, you will be able to book your online exam at a date and time of your choice. Recertification: This certification has to be renewed within three years of certification to remain current. There are multiple ways to recertify, more information regarding the options can be found here.

Closed book
60% pass mark (36/60)

Practitioner:
150 minutes
70 questions, each worth 1 mark
42 questions correct to pass the exam
Open book (The PRINCE2 7 official book, should be used but no other material is allowed)

Basisvoorwaarden

There are no prerequisites for the PRINCE2 Foundation course, but you will need to have passed the Foundation exam before booking your Practitioner exam.

How big does a project have to be before PRINCE2 can be used?

PRINCE2 can be applied to all sorts of projects, from the very small to the very large. Even projects lasting only a few days will benefit from selective application of PRINCE2 guidelines. What are the PRINCE2 qualifications and what will they teach me?

The PRINCE2 Foundation qualification will teach you the PRINCE2 principles, terminology and when qualified you will be able to act as an informed member of a project management team using the PRINCE2 methodology within a project environment supporting PRINCE2.The PRINCE2 Practitioner qualification will teach you to apply PRINCE2 to the running and managing of a project within an environment supporting PRINCE2. Once qualified you will be able to apply and tune PRINCE2 to address the needs and problems of a specific project scenario. You will have a comprehensive knowledge of the relationships between the PRINCE2 principles, themes and processes and PRINCE2 products and will understand these elements.The PRINCE2 Re-registration qualification is designed for those who have passed PRINCE2 to Practitioner level and wish to maintain their Registered Practitioner status. The PRINCE2 Examination Board has determined that all PRINCE2 Practitioners should be re-registered within 3-5 calendar years of their original certification (failure to pass the Re-registration Examination after 5 calendar years as a Registered Practitioner will result in withdrawal of your registered status).
