Excellent facilities, registration, stationary, lunch and drinks
Great course! loved my instructor, she was excellent and very knowledgeable. She was particularly great at engagement and giving examples that are memorable and relate-able.
All handouts and online materials were really great, however I suggest scrapping the Practitioner handout as it wasnt really used in our final two days.
The Class was a little large (around 25 people) and I struggled by the end of the course due to the amount of information i had to take in plus long days with homework and travel time.
It would have been good to have known a little more about the format and timeframes of the course before signing up as this would have helped me to decide whether classroom was the best option for me.
I definitely learnt more in the classroom however I may have opted to do part classroom and part online to complete my course as this would have better suited my learning skills.
It was an excellent course and Dennis Sheehan was clearly a trainer with a passion for PRINCE2. I guess your question could be 'what would make it excellent?' Minor tings really.
1. I though the time for the pre-read was a bit short - I managed to do it BUT I have a day job - although the guidance about what to read was helpful I was still left feeling I should have prepped better.
2. Clearly there are some anomalies in the prepared material highlighted by Dennis during the course
3. I found the Practitioner exam pretty difficult, primarily because there seemed to be a lot of reading which had not been the case for the examples we did.
4. While you did identify extra evening work I think this should be emphasised more as I spent a good 3-4 hours or more each day reading and preparing for the exams

I found the service very good. Course materials were delivered in a timely manner and all communication was clear and helpful. The course itself was run very well.
great facilities. the kitchen and "waitresses" were very helpful and friendly. they went out of their way to get me soy milk for the week and every break tehy left it our for me- lovely touch.
The tutor was excellent the facilities fantastic which lead to a brilliant learning environment.

I found the course informative and helpful; Prince2 is a great methodology and its practical usage cannot be doubted. I found the facilities great including the class room and set up. I was really impressed with the trainer, Dennis Sheehan. He was able to describe the more difficult aspects of the course in a simple and memorable way. Overall I am very happy that I took the course.

Very easy to book, lots of different dates/locations to choose from. Helen the instructor was the best tutor I have ever had the privelege of learning from, great teaching techniques, loved the course.
I'm not sure if it is a PRINCE2 or ILX criticism, but I found that the practioner course provided little value other than teaching us how to answer questions for the exam. Whilst these were required to do well in the exam, I question whether there should be more focus on practical application of PRINCE2, which is what I imagine the course would have covered. Foundation was conducted well.
Overall experience of booking through to course attendance handled well.
Engagement with ILX was Good but could improve, all interaction via email means that sometimes things get missed or forgotten, a courtesy phone call following things up would improve overall customer service
Very helpful and friendly.I have 1 comment- I didn't receive my manual before the course. I did however get one from the presenter. As the course is intense its beneficial to have the manual to do the prereading and exercises.
